What a fantastic evening at the DUJAT (Dutch & Japanese Trade Federation) December Dinner 2024.
DUJAT serves as a professional platform for Japanese and Dutch companies to foster mutual understanding and explore business opportunities. Last night, they hosted a record-breaking 500+ guests at Hotel Okura Amsterdam, celebrating the enduring relationship between Japan and the Netherlands.
There were esteemed speakers, including Mr Hiroshi Minami, Ambassador of Japan, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, and Mr Boudewijn Siemons, CEO of the Port of Rotterdam.
I had the honour of attending the Municipality Haarlemmermeer table alongside our Deputy Mayor, Marja Ruigrok, and board members from leading Japanese companies based in this municipality, such as OMRON Group, Kyowa Kirin International plc., Kubota in Europe/Kverneland Group, KYOCERA Global, KONICA MINOLTA, INC., NX GROUP (NIPPON EXPRESS GROUP), Yusen Logistics.
Fernando Colás, Arnoud den Ouden, Marc Vijgen, Yasukazu Kamada, Ronald Harmsen, Takuya Marubayashi, Gert Lambers, Jasper van Oudenhoven, Jack Osendarp
A heartfelt thank you to Christa De Kemp, Jinn van Gastel, and Luc Houben for making this event a tremendous success once again!
